Rabid racoons! It has been a long week?two? What has it been. So Idaho is hot. Too hot. The ac in my house doesn’t work, the van died on the way up, and mom just got out of the hospital, did I mention the cougar in the backyard? This has been the most chaotic couple of weeks. Hoping it starts to calm down. On the Brite side I met my new principal, she is so sweet and so happy to have me. My program is brand new to their school so I get to build the program from the ground up and they had me sit in on the hiring process for my aides. Which was a first for me but I feel really good about the team I am getting. It’s an adorable brownstone school is downtown Boise, I have two large rooms, 9 kids and 3 aides. Did I mention it was fucking hot here. AC repair guy is coming tomorrow. Hopefully it’s something simple because I can’t sleep when my room is 110 another night.
